Dr. Jean-Francois Orsini
Reflecting on how hard it is to defend the Church in the secular world and how many Catholic teens, adolescents and young adults have little or no support of their faith in this struggle, Dr. Jean-Francois Orsini created the Holy Spirited Arsenal program to remedy this problem.
Previously he founded the St. Antoninus Institute for Catholic Education in Business which taught Catholic principles applied to the world of work, management, business and the economy. He has written “Virtue Based Management” a complete textbook of Management, reviewing in technical depth the different themes of management and introducing Thomistic concepts which improve further on the social sciences descriptively as well as normatively. The Institute also published annual issues of the Pro-Life Shopping Guide, listing companies that were funding pro-abortion organizations, including the different local chapters of Planned Parenthood nationwide, and all their products and services. He further offered information and encouragement to members of the Institute individually and through a monthly newsletter.
In the beginning of the establishment of the EWTN website, Mother Angelica’s organization offered free hosting of the St. Antoninus Institute’s website. In the process some of his articles were uploaded on the EWTN website. Additionally, Dr. Orsini filled the role of “expert” in Catholic Social Teachings for EWTN, responding daily to viewers, providing them information on those teachings and comfort in their efforts in being faithful to these teachings of the Church in the midst of their personal problems.
Dr. Orsini served as a business consultant to the World Bank and private companies. He worked in real estate financing. And taught Finance, Management and Business Ethics at the university level for over 15 years.
